Spydyr's Farewell

Hello friends, family, moblins etc etc…

I'm writing this message to inform you all that after 5 1/2 years of Mob service that I am stepping down as Rhythm guitarist.  Don't worry… this is all a personal decision for me to move on and try other things.  Some of you might be wondering if there was fighting, differences and any other negative rumors that would spread in this situation…. THAT COULDN'T BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH… there is no animosity or cynicism being held towards anyone in the Mob.  I love my bandmates like family and they have been just that for the past 5 1/2 years.  Of course there is always ups and downs but it's the ups that will stick with me.  I've had a hell of an experience that most cant say they have done with their life but now it is time for me to move on to other endeavors. MIDNIGHT MOB IS MY FAMILY AND FOREVER WILL REMAIN THAT! It's time to open a new just as positive chapter in my life! To all my friends, family, fans, moblins…. I can go on and on, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support over the years, thats something I will never forget! And to my brothers and sisters; Blackey, Carly, Mickey and Beatz… I love you all and will continue to push and support you no matter what and wish you all the best.  One final word to everyone: I promise… I PROMISE you have NOT seen the last ME!! That is for sure.

Love you all and to the new chapter,

Salvatore Spydyr Manteria

New Website

Recently we put together a very user friendly website for those who want to take an extra step closer to Midnight Mob.  The website is www.MidnightMobFans.com.  We wanted to put something together that was very simple, focused and offered interaction with those who wanted to know more about us and potentially follow us on our neverending quest for world domination.

This site has our official mailing list form for those who want to receive our newsletters and get all sorts of freebies and exclusives.  Also accessible is our tour calendar and also is the return of our question and answer module.  This was an extremely popular feature we used to have but we had to put it aside when changed from fanbridge to get response.  Now it's back and you can ask us quesitons or make comments. We will answer your questions and reply to your comments.  Ask us whatever you want we willl have an answer for everything and anything.  When we used to do this it was so much fun because some of the questions were so off the wall and we really had to get creative with our answers.

When you have a moment visit www.MidnightMobFans.com pick up a free mp3, check our tour dates and ask us a question! We hope to hear from you & hopefully we'll get to meet at one of our shows.

New EP Update

This new ep has been quite the adventure, but we can honestly and excitedly say it is very close to an end. All songs are recorded except the chorus of one song, which is the song Blackey has been dreading the most.  What ended up happening  was that when it came time to do this one song her vocal chords were giving her problems again.  Her doctor gave her a choice to get a shot in the neck that would be very costly but would do the trick and get her voice back in top working order. Blackey decided to take the shot because she didn't want to deliver anything sub par. As a result the ep will be slightly delayed.  Our initial plan was to have the hard copy of the ep available early September in time for our tour to AL and back, but unfortunately it won't be.

For those of you that pledged you will still be able to download the ep in September, but the hard copy won't be available until late September early October. In order to give Blackey a little more time to complete the last song we will be making the pledge downloads available weekly.  We will be releasing two songs a week and are keeping the pledge campaign open until the final two downloads are released.

All those that do not pledge by the deadline you will be able to purchase the ep when it is officially released in December.  At that time it will be out on all download platforms and the hard copies will be available through our official store.  There is still time to get the material during it's pre released phase & it's only $5 for six tracks.  Our closest circle of people have been hearing the more completed mixes and we're getting some awesome feedback. Can't wait for you all to hear it!
